It's Sunday.....and I think that today sounds like a good lazy day!

I would like to share my new wall art, you can read all about it over at What's Scrapping?

I made this for my sister's new apartment! I hope that she like it. I used 4 of the patterned papers from the Out of Print kit (I put an extra set of patterned papers aside to work on this canvas).

Good  morning my Scraptastic friends!

I've got lots of DT inspiration to share with you today, so grab a cup of joe and get comfortable.

I'm looking for Guest Designers for September - December.
As of right now, this call is only open to US residents.

Here's what I need:
1. Please send me 3-4 of your favorite layouts/cards/projects in Jpeg format
2. A little blurb about yourself and why you'd like to be a guest designer
3. Your contact info
4. A list of any current design teams that you're on, as well as past ones
5. links to any online galleries that you have
6. a link to your blog

here's what we expect from you:
1. 3-4 layouts per month done with the kit
2. post on your blog with the kit reveals
3. posts on your blog with the projects that you've done with the kit
4. be a follower of our blog and facebook page
5. you will be responsible for coming up with and posting to our blog a weekly challenge (a new challenge is posted every Thursday - your specific Thursday will be determined prior to the month you are chosen as GDT)

You will be provided with a kit prior to your GDT month, you will also receive a 25% discount on any other purchases during your GDT month!

Good morning my Scraptastic friends!

I got to break into my Summer Star Kit last night, and I had a blast working with it!

I did this page with pictures of my son posing like a gangster.....kids!

So here it is.....

I finished it late last night after the kids were fast asleep, and when I came into the office to get it to take pictures, I found my son sitting at my scrap table staring at it, so I asked him if he liked it. He jumped out of the chair and gave me a huge hug and said "I don't like it, I love it. It has to be my favorite so far, and I really like the pictures. They're funny!"

I got to sit down last night and break into the Out of Print kit.....so totally love this kit! Love these papers, just plain love it all!

So here's my layout....

I just love the way this one turned out, I think it's the pink and teal that does it for me!

I think I will break into the Summer Star kit tonight after the kids are in bed!

This picture is of Bailey and my BF Amanda (or as Bailey calls her "my Manda") at my niece's 2nd birthday party. Amanda always calls Bailey "girlfriend" and Bailey always yells at her "I'm not your girlfriend", thus the fitting title!

Challenge time!!

It's Thursday again!!!! How can that be?? My July is slipping away!!! Yes, Michelle here again with my challenge for you. It's an easy one too. I know the summer is keeping us all busy. So, my challenge is.....

...to use stamps on your LO. Sounds easy, right? Well, there is a twist - use paint to stamp with. A great way to use those daubers we got in our fun kits! I know there are alot of us that have them and are addicted to them. If you don't have any paint, no worries. Just stamp on your LO.

  I used an Ali Edwards Technique Tuesday stamp and stamped on the journal cards with the paint in our kit. I love that stamp, and my sweet girl still does make me smile. These are old photos from about 9 years ago. I also used one of Trish's sketches from Sketch Inspiration.

So.. go get messy!!! Have some fun with paints and stamps!! I can't wait to see yours!! Make sure to link it up below for a chance to win this months prize - Simple Stories Life Documented Collection kit.

TGIF!!!!!! I'm so excited that today is Friday...so ready for my weekend to begin. The kids have a pool birthday party to go to Saturday night. And I'm thinking that a trip to Savannah sounds like a plan for Sunday....we just have to be home by 9 for True Blood!

Jessica also made a layout with the sketch and she used the same kit! I sent my sketch to her earlier this month and I just love the page she created. The way she matted the tiny letters really makes the title stand out. Thanks for your help Jessica!
