Good morning my Scraptastic friends!

I hope that everyone had a great weekend.....I know I did. I was able to get lots of scrapping done this weekend which makes me happy! I'd like to share some of what I did......

First Love

I used this week's sketch from Sketchy Thurdays for this layout and some of the Sassafras Lass "Indie Girl" line. Here's the sketch.....

Here's a LO using one of the June kits "Surf's Up" and the "Surf's Up" add-on, it's based on a sketch by the lovely Heather Landry....but I can't share the sketch with you yet......

and I loved the sketch so much that I did a second LO with it using the other June kit "Birthday Wishes" and the "Birthday Wishes" add-on......

Now I'd like to share a LO from DT Heather Landry using the "Surf's Up" kit......

I received another LO from DT Michelle Unruh with the "Classic Girl" kit from May......

Good morning my Scraptastic friends!

I've had a great weekend with the fam, they left this morning and I miss them already! But we had a great weekend, it was just too short! Yesterday we all went and saw Kung Fu Panda 2 in 3D.....what a great movie.....it was just as good as the first one if not better.....I would definitely recommend it!

On to my Wall Art for What's Scrapping?

I used the Nerdy Bird line from Sassafras Lass for this one and I just love how it came out! Isn't it just so cute......perfect for a little girls rooms.

Oh, I almost forgot......we went to the tree house yesterday where my hubby works.....I wanted to show everyone hoe beautiful the property is, and the kids wanted to go on the zip line......here are some pics......

So, yesterday was the opening of The Hangover Part II.......how many of you went to see it? I would have to say the the first one has to be one of the funniest movies ever, especially the more you watch it. Well, I went with my brother and sister last night to see it, it was definitely worth it! I can't wait for it to come out on DVD.....

Declan's team played an amazing baseball game last night......definitely a nail biter! But they won in the last inning. The kids and the parents all went nuts! We are by far the loudest group of parents there.....

After I got the kids in bed I finished up this layout that I did based on a pencil lines sketch.....

Onto some other news......I'm totally tired of my kids not wanting to help with chores around the house, getting ready in the morning for school (it's always an argument) and constantly fighting with each other. Well on Monday I found a post about an online chore chart for kids, so I thought I'd give it a try. Wow, totally works for my kids. We've had a chore chart on the fridge, and it works for a few days, then not so much. But, today is day four of the online chart....and my kids are still into it and loving it. I've noticed that it's also cut down on the TV time in our house, because now they'd rather do extra jobs around the house to earn extra points instead of watching TV. They're also working better together to get their chores done. I'm loving it! Go check it out........

I hope that everyone had a great Tuesday! Declan's baseball team finally won their first game last night! We are all so excited!!!!! We had to take him out to celebrate with dinner and ice cream! Wish them luck for their Friday game!
