Good  morning my Scraptastic friends!

I've got lots of DT inspiration to share with you today, so grab a cup of joe and get comfortable.

First up is some Out of Print inspiration.....

I just have to take a vote on this one......how many of you out there call the VW Beetles Slug Bugs and how many of you call them Punch Bugs? I had a long conversation about this with Michelle, so please leave a comment to the post telling us what you call them!!!!!

Good morning my Scraptastic friends!

TGIF!!!!!! I'm so excited that today is Friday...so ready for my weekend to begin. The kids have a pool birthday party to go to Saturday night. And I'm thinking that a trip to Savannah sounds like a plan for Sunday....we just have to be home by 9 for True Blood!

Today I'd like to share a couple of layouts from DT Michelle Unruh using the "Sweet Summertime" kit (only one kit left).....

love the blues and yellows, oh, and that yellow flower that she made with tulle.

this one is just so sweet and colorful!

Hi everyone! It's Heather, and I'm here to challenge you this week. I know you all know by now that I love creating sketches. This week is no exception! Looking for a little inspiration? Here's the layout I made based on the sketch. Of course, I  used the fabulous July Scraptastic Club "Sweet Summertime" kit! 

Jessica also made a layout with the sketch and she used the same kit! I sent my sketch to her earlier this month and I just love the page she created. The way she matted the tiny letters really makes the title stand out. Thanks for your help Jessica!

Good morning my Scraptastic friends!

It's Monday........and I woke up super early for some reason. I really want to stay home and hang with the family, but, I can't....lots of work to do at the office!

 

Remember Juliann's mini book that she did with the Sweet Summertime kit? Well, it totally inspired to do my own mini album with the kit. All of the pictures are from our recent day trip over to Pinckney Island.

a monochromatic challenge and a winner.......

I hope that you all had a great holiday weekend, I know I did! Definitely not ready to be back in reality....oh well!

Let's kick off the July challenges with a monochromatic challenge. You can use different shades of your color choice, and I will also throw in one accent color. For my example I chose some of the yummy teal papers from the July Kit Sweet Summertime, and for my accent color I chose red.

i used the ribbon to mimic the banner sticker i used on the page.

of course i used my tools (sew easy and i*rock)

the picture is of gavin on my birthday. he

loves water especially fountains!

here is the mini i made using the july kit!

i used the chipboard sheet from the kit bag, paint

dauber stickers, scraps and ribbon. i added buttons!

i made this book for william (my middle guy)

so he could document all the fun trips we took

this summer. he is so excited!

i added some "cargo" to the pick-up truck, and the date.

I hope that you are all having a wonderful 4th of July weekend so far! I'm trying to catch up on some housework and also trying to fit in some scrapping. Why do I always feel like like I'm catching up with my housework? Anyhoo.....I'd like to share a layout that I just finished using the new Sweet Summertime kit and Add-On and Pencil Lines Sketch #242 . (I'm almost sold out of these new July kits, only 4 left!)

Good morning my Scraptastic friends!

TGIF!!!! I'm so looking forward to this long weekend.....what are your plans for the weekend? I will just be hanging with the kids and on Monday we'll go to Hilton Head to see the fireworks, I'll have to pick up some ear plugs for the Beans because she hates loud noises, so fireworks are always a treat with her!

I finished up a new layout last night using the "Sweet Summertime" kit. I think this kit is my favorite so far, I just love all the fun and bright colors!

The pictures are from a couple of weekends ago when we were in Orlando for my niece's 2nd Birthday. The only things on the page that are not included in the kit are the buttons and my I-Rock gems.
