I hope that you all had a wonderful Mother's Day and a great NSD day! I got lots of scrapping done on Saturday and Sunday....I did the challenges over at BPC and here's some of what I did.....

Apparently I wasn't the only one that was busy this weekend......I received an email from DT Heather Landry with these lovely projects.....

Good morning my Scraptastic friends! Tomorrow is the last day of Tax Season....and I can't wait. 

When I got home from work on Friday, some of the 2nd May kit which I'm calling "Classic Girl" was waiting on my doorstep. I just couldn't help tearing into some of those papers, they're just so pretty......

Here's my new wall art......"Home Is Where The Heart Is".....

Here's how I did it. I cut out 6 3x3 squares from 3 of the PP. I used my Glue Glider Pro to attach one of each to my background. For the other 3, I used my Imaginisce D-Stress tool around all of the edges, then I used my AC dimensional foam squares to attach them to the squares already on my paper. The teal letters are AC Thickers Jewelry Box Glitter Aqua, the black letters are Cosmo Cricket chipboard licorice, and the red letters are AC Thickers Playroom Cherry felt, all were from my stash. For the butterfly, I used some of my smooch spritz.....first I sprayed the whole butterfly with "Sun Kissed" and when that dried I sprayed it with "Black Velvet", and then one more time with "Sun Kissed". I glued on two buttons that I had left over from the Scraptastic Club April Kit "Enjoy the Little Things", and for the antennas I used a couple of coursage pins, I colored the "white pearl" with a black sharpie.

Good morning my Scraptastic friends! It's Monday....but not just any Monday....it's my birthday! What a bummer last night was, 1. there was no scrappy time for me yesterday, darn tax season and 2. True Blood doesn't come back until June....not sure where my head was on that one.

Scraptastic Club Challenge

Good morning my Scraptastic friends! It's Monday and the kids are on Spring Break....yay!!!

I have some exciting news, I won last week's Sketch Inspiration challenge.....I never win anything, in fact I was talking to Heather over the weekend and I was telling her how I never win anything, then Sunday came and....boom....I won....here's my LO that won.....

Another LO I did was chosen as one of the top 5 on the "Livin' On A Nice Day playlist over at                       Scrap It With A Song

As I announced yesterday, I closed down the forum....so today will be our first challenge on the new blog....here's what I want you to do.....pick a song from your high school days and incorporate either the title or some of the lyrics or both into a layout.....here's my example (which was also based on a sketch for a DT call over at Let's Scrap)

It's Thursday, and I'm ready for Friday.....the kids are performing in a talent show show tomorrow night.....they've been practicing for weeks and are so super excited about tomorrow.....they are performing to Rockin' Robin.....Declan is singing and Bailey is tapping......I'll let you know how it went on Saturday.....

When I got home last night from work, I just had to bust into the "Enjoy The Little Things" kit.....wow.....I really love it all and I can't wait to play again......

Good morning my Scraptastic friends! It's Wednesday and I have lots to share with you today!

Well, last night was Declan's 1st baseball game, they lost, but they all played hard and had fun. Spring break starts next week, so there won't be any more games until the 2nd week of April.

I wanted to share a new LO I did with the Fancy Pants it's your day line. The picture is from Declan's 1st Bday, and he burnt his little fingers on the candle (no one told the "new" parents not to light the candle), I felt so horrible....

I love the blues and greens together on this one, and for those of who might be wondering, yes, I did some journaling on this page, LOL!

Today starts the Scraptastic "Lucky" blog hop.....

But first I want to share the LO I finished last night. When I got home from work there was a large box of scrappy goodness waiting for me....it was part of the April kit "Enjoy the Little Things"....the only items I'm waiting on now is the Fancy Pants "It's the Little Things" items which will be arriving next week..I just couldn't resist busting out the 2 EP "For the Record" papers that will be in the kit (the rest is from my stash)....

When I showed everyone the LO, here's what my daughter had to say...
