2nd June Challenge

Hi everyone! It's Heather, and I'm here to challenge you this week. I would like for you to base your layout on this sketch that I created. The only other requirement is that your layout have a banner of some sort. You can use pre-made banners or create your own. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Here is my example layout. I created it using the June kit and add on from Scraptastic Club called "Surf's Up". As you can see, I flipped the sketch horizontally to make it work better with my photo.

You can find the first June challenge here. Reminder: You will have until July 6th to complete all of June's challenges. A new challenge will be posted every Thursday.....so be sure to stop by and check them all out. The more of the challenges you do, the more entries you'll receive for the drawing. Please use Mr. Linky below to link up your submission for this week's challenge. The winner will receive Echo Park's Splash Collection kit!

***You do not have to purchase any of our products to take part in any of our challenges.....for an extra entry into the drawing, become a follower of this blog, just make you sure that you leave a comment to this post letting me know that you did!

teachers gifts......

Good morning my Scraptastic friends!

If you're looking for the 1st weekly challenge for June, you can find it here.
TGIF.......I'm so ready for the weekend! The kids last day of school is Wednesday, and I finally started working on the teachers gifts last night. My kids asked me to make picture frames for all of their teachers, and today I'd like to share the frames I made for B's teachers....

Her main teacher just had a baby boy and the B picked out the dinosaur for the frame....

the other two teachers I don't really know too much about so I started putting together some frames for them that I thought they could put their kids school pictures in.......when B came home she wanted to see the frames, and when I showed them to her she said......"Miss C told me that she likes stripes and Miss B told me that she loves polka dots" so I thought how perfect that I picked both of those......when I finished the other two frames, I showed them to B, and she said they were perfect and told me the story again and walked away with a goofy look on her face, so I then asked "Did they really tell you what they liked?" and here's her reply...."Well, no, but I'm studying to be an actor, so that's why I told you that."
What I am going to do with her?
Anywho.....here's the other two frames....

Thanks for letting me share with you today.......and remember TGIF!

summer fun challenge.......

Good morning my Scraptastic friends!
I'm ready for some summer fun......
Let's kick off the first of our monthly challenges. You will have until July 6th to complete all of June's challenges. A new challenge will be posted every Thursday.....so be sure to stop by and check them all out. The more of the challenges you do, the more entries you'll receive for the drawing.......

Are you ready?
Here's what I want to see......a fun summer themed layout, but I also want you to alter and item on your page....in my page below.....the larger alphabets that I used were red, so I colored them with a blue marker so they went better with my page. I also used some Tim Holtz Distress Stain in Vintage Photo on my flowers.......so there you have it......easy peasy.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot.....here's my example.....

Just use Mr. Linky below to link up your submission for this week's challenge......and remember, you have until July 6th at midnight to complete all of this month's challenges.
